Medial epicondylitis, also known as Golfer's Elbow is injury common to golfers and those who have to grip, hold, and manipulate sporting equipment. The athletes who have sustained Golfer's Elbow will experience a pain along the medial aspect, or inside, of the elbow and potentially grip weakness due to a tendon along the inside of the elbow becoming irritated and inflamed.
